Born and raised in a small town outside of Vail, Colorado, Alexis enjoys working close to her hometown. She earned a bachelor's degree in criminology and psychology, with a minor in leadership studies, from the University of Denver.

In her free time, Alexis loves spending time outdoors and exploring nature, a perfect fit for Colorado living. She also enjoys watching movies, reading, and traveling, and she is always looking for new ways to be involved in her community. Currently, her time is filled with connecting with neighbors, attending local concerts, and participating in book clubs. She also stays informed about national and global political and social issues, which helps her stay connected to the world around her and fuel her advocacy.
